Nandi is one of the most beloved Ganas of Lord Shiva. Nandi ji is also the gatekeeper of Mount Kailash. All of you must have seen that Nandi ji sits at some distance in front of Shivling in Shin temple. Many people, when they go to the temple, speak their wishes in the ears of Nandi. It is a belief that by speaking your wish in the ears of Nandi, it definitely gets fulfilled. But, many people go home only after worshiping Lord Shiva. But, worshiping Nandi along with Lord Shiva is also very important. According to legend, Lord Shiva had given a boon to Nandi that wherever he resided, Nandi would always reside there.

It is necessary to worship Nandi ji after Shivling: -

Rules of saying wishes in the ear and before saying any wish must worship Nandi:-

1. While saying your wish in Nandi's ear, keep in mind that no one else should listen to your words.

2. One should speak his wish in Nandi's left ear. It is more important to speak wishes in this ear. However, you can speak your wish in the other ear as well.

3. Do worship Nandi before saying your wish in his ears.

4. When you say your wish, cover your lips with both hands. so that no one can see you.

5. Don't say anything bad about anyone or do bad to anyone in Nandi's ears.

6. When you tell your wishes to Nandi ji, then also offer some gifts in front of him. You can offer fruits, and prasad to Nandi ji.

7. Speak your words so slowly that even the person standing next to you does not get to know about it.

8. Your words can be said in any ear of Nandi but it is more important to say in the left ear.

9. While speaking your words, cover your lips with both your hands so that no other person can see you saying that thing.

10. Never say anything bad about someone else in Nandi's ear, about doing bad to another person.

11. After speaking your wish to Nandi, present something in front of him. Like fruit, money, or prasad.

12. After speaking the wish, say that 'Nandi Maharaj fulfill our wish'.

13. If you do this then your wish will reach Lord Shiva and you will get its result immediately.
