According to Vastu Shastra, if you want to change your broom or buy a new broom, then Saturday is the best day to buy broom or bring broom home. Using a new broom on Saturday is considered auspicious. Also it is being said that broom should be bought in Krishna Paksha. Whereas, buying a broom in the Shukla Paksha should be avoided as it is considered an indicator of bad luck. Therefore, never buy a broom during this Muhurta.
